Joshua D. Brown

Joshua Brown is an Associate with the firm and is based out of the Butler office. His focus areas are civil litigation, insurance defense, construction law, real estate, as well as corporate and business matters.

 

Josh has a solid legal background, having practiced law for nearly a decade in some of Pittsburgh's premier law firms. Additionally, he held a significant role as a Claims Director in the financial lines group for an international insurance company and has served as in house counsel for an oil and gas company. His versatility and diverse professional background enable him to offer our clients comprehensive legal advice.

 

Josh is a valued member of several esteemed associations including the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Allegheny County Bar Association, and the PA Blockchain Association. He is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the U.S District Court for Western District. Josh was selected as “Ones to Watch” for 2022 and 2023 Best Lawyers in America.

 

He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, following his Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. His stellar academic background equips him with a profound understanding of the complexities of law.

 

In addition to his professional commitments, Josh is actively involved in several pursuits. He was previously elected as Minority Inspector for Upper St. Clair Ward 3, District 1. He is an avid winemaker, a Pittsburgh Pirates fan, and cherishes spending quality time with his family, which includes his wife Sara and their three children.
